But as for now the sun is breaking betweeen clouds; it’s very nice.

I could not find a better title for this post; you will soon understand why.
As I said in the previous post, the fax machine at the hotel at Cesana Torinese does not work. I cannot even have a copy of my ID card with me. Now and in the next days I am going to and back from France, Italy, Switzerland, Austria etc. (and especially Slovenia, if I will have one spare day in the end) and I cannot risk of being stopped because I have not a valid ID card with me.
So, I decide to go back to Borgo San Dalmazzo and get my document back and then, as soon as I can, come back to these places.

Today is going to be a full day of driving since we got many kms to eat. I am going to cross many passes while doing a couple of times to and from Italy and France. Passes to be conquered are Colle della Lombarda, Col del la Bonette, Col de Vars, Col d’Izoard and Col de Montgenèvre (Colle del Monginevro).

A visit at Funchal, the ‘capital’ – so they say – of the Madeira Island in the Atlantic Ocean, during an International Diving Meeting. Lots of colors and some fun places to see.
On my first New York visit – well, not really, I had my first one on a two day rush visit for job reasons around 1994 – I took some shots of my usual kind.
