I collected these images from a series of shots made during a guided tour in the jewish part of the city.
The city looks far differently from anything you might expect. The commercial and touristic setup is predominant over everything else. Almost everywhere you have the chance to have a look at the modern city, the ancient levels of the city being tens of meters below the actual surface and mostly hidden. Nevertheless a visit is worthwhile to realize and experience the contradictions and hard contrasts that make up Jerusalem as it is in these days.
