This is my second visit in these surroundings (find first here), the Archaeological Precinct of the Holy Cross in Jerusalem near the Basilica with the same name, in Rome. This one is more on the adiacent area of the Basilica of the Holy Cross in Jerusalem

In the precinct you may find the remains of the Imperial Palace of Helena, mother of Constantine (find a complete description of the site here). As a final tidbit, I had the chance to pay a visit to the exciting Aufidia Cornelia Valentilla’s Domus, a real hidden jewel of this area.
